Chris Bosh raced out on the court to chest-bump Jamario Moon a couple of times, slap him in congratulations midway through the second quarter last night, right after Moon had drained a critical three-point jumper to quell an Orlando Magic uprising.
The rookie small forward broke into one of his big ol' grins. "That's what I'm talking about, baby," he yelled.

Moon Puts Guarantee on Dunk Victory - Toronto Raptors

Jamario Moon is guaranteeing a win in tonight's all-star dunk competition.
The 27-year-old rookie who was getting ready for the CBA playoffs this time last year with the Albany Patroons says he will fly higher, dunk better and ultimately draw more votes from the NBA public to best the likes of Dwight Howard, who nearly won last year's dunkoff, Gerald Green who did win it, and Memphis high-flyer Rudy Gay, who already has been crowned chief trash talker of the much anticipated event.

Mitchell Says Charlotte Rumor Belongs In The Trash - Toronto Raptors

Sam Mitchell wasn't too happy with Peter Vecsey's report on Sunday that he may become the next head coach of the Charlotte Bobcats .
"How quickly do you want me to walk out of here?" he said during a media conference. "Lombo (Raptors media relations director Jim LaBumbard) told me about it and showed me the paper it was written on, and I filed it right where it should go, in the thing that swings back and forth, that they pick up once a week on the side of the curb."

Raptors Clinch Playoff Berth, Beat Bobcats - Toronto Raptors

Chris Bosh has the Toronto Raptors in the playoffs for the first time in five years.
Bosh had 24 points and 16 rebounds and the Raptors clinched their first playoff spot since 2002 with a 107-94 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Sunday night.
"It means a lot to me,'' said Bosh, who signed an extension with Toronto last summer. "It quiets the people who were like 'Why did you come here? Why didn't go you to the States?' It's just a good feeling that my beliefs have paid off and it's turned to reality.''

An ESPN report tagged Suns President and General Manager Bryan Colangelo as the top target in Toronto's general manager search, but Colangelo said he fully plans on remaining in Phoenix. ESPN reported Sunday night on NBA Fastbreak that Colangelo was not only the focus to replace Raptors interim General Manager Wayne Embry but also that Phoenix granted Toronto permission to talk to Colangelo.

Raptors rookie Charlie Villanueva believes there is something special developing between Chris Bosh and himself on the court. "We're like Tim Duncan and David Robinson," Villanueva said, following the team's morning shootaround at the America West Arena. "But a younger version. I really feel that."
